Of all the types of photography I have done,  I must say photographing peoples’ pets is among my most favorite.  It is also one of the most difficult.  I have yet to master the command: “Sit, smile and look at me.”  Unfortunately, all too often, I hear from the pet caretakers that their beloved pet is no longer with us.  It makes me sad, but I am oh so happy we were able to capture the essense of their lovely pets.

This photograph of the orange tabby appeared on the cover of the Ontario SPCA calendar!

We are proud owners of two cute, but not very obedient, mini Schnauzers.  We were concerned Cherie wouldn’t be able to get them settled enough to take good shots.  Not a problem.  Within two minutes Annie and Zack were under Cherie’s spell and the resulting photos surpassed our expectations.  The CD, “From A to Z”, she prepared for us is fabulous!!  We sent both “grandparents” a copy.  Thanks to Cherie we now have a visual memory of Zack and Annie that will last forever.  Tom and Pam, Bobcaygeon

Thank you for the wonderful photos of both dogs.  You have truly captured their individual personalities – and as an (unexpected) added bonus the photo of me with Daisy is the best candid shot that has even been taken (of me).  You are very talented.  Cathy, Bogcaygeon

This little dog never, I mean never stopped running.  What a happy little soul she is.  I don’t know how I even got one shot in focus!
