Surprise, surprise.  I moved to St. Catharines, ON towards the end of  Sept.   Shortly after that my husand passed away.  I’m taking a much needed time away from anything technical.

Every so often I get to photograph food.  Not always very exotic, but it’s fun.   I would love to shoot with a food stylist; I have bought food magazines just to look at the pictures!

We were lucky enough to visit Italy for a month.  I found the different doors fascinating,  especially in Rome.  It seemed that every time I walked by a building, I couldn’t help myself – I just had to photograph the door!

Before Christmas (I know it’s after Christmas now, but I put this in the wrong place and couldn’t find it again – groan) the local Pet Valu had a fund raiser to benefit the Humane Society of Kawarth Lakes.  It was a blast!  So many cute dogs.  Here are just a few of my favs.  Santa looks a tad bored, don’t you think?

OK, so I admit it, I’m the worst at blogging.  I did add a couple posts, but in the wrong place.  I really do need to practice this!  So, before Christmas, we did a bunch of photo sessions outside and it was great fun.  Even the kids had a blast.  Here are just a few images.

We had great weather for this family’s session.  Thank heaven the weather cooperated and most of the session could be photographed outside.  That gave these two little bundles of energy time to run and run and run!  If I could just bottle some of that energy and sell it, I’d be a kazillionaire!  Here’s a possibility for the family’s Christmas card image:

Well,  I’ve taken some time off from normal duties and have been taking classes and seminars to give me some fresh new ideas and improve my craft.  Now it’s time to get back to blogging every so often to keep all my loyal fans up to date!
